Accessibility statement
Makor is built so that anyone can issue and manage their documents, whatever way they use a computer.
The level this site meets
The site is built to the Israeli standard ת"י 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.1 at level AA. Conformance is checked as part of development rather than as a one-off exercise.
What has been done
- Full keyboard navigation on every screen, with a clearly visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
- A hierarchical heading structure, labelled navigation landmarks, and tables whose column headers are declared for screen readers.
- Every form field is tied to a label, and errors are conveyed in text rather than by colour alone.
- Colour contrast that meets the required ratio, including automatic text-colour selection over a business's own brand colour.
- Hebrew and English throughout, with full right-to-left and left-to-right support.
- Animation is disabled automatically for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
What is not accessible yet
We would rather name what is outstanding than make a general claim:
- The PDF of an issued document is produced as a print artifact and is not tagged for full accessibility. The content of every document is also available on its online view, which is accessible.
- Third-party content embedded in the site is outside our control and may conform to a different level.
